What makes Toronto a great destination

Why Toronto

Toronto, originally called the city of York, is now one of the multi-cultural hot spots of the world - it's all happening here.

Famous Sports hot spots:

Home to the Blue Jays, The Yacht Club, Cricket Club, Skating and the Argonaut Rowing club, just to name a few. We have great teams, enthusiastic crowds., many arenas and historic venues to go with it, like the Maple Leafs Garden and Christie Pits.

Great cuisine, music and nightlife

Toronto houses more than ten thousand restaurants, clubs, bars and lounges and is know as one of the best music and nightlife scenes in Canada.

Famous buildings and great venues
The most famous building of Toronto is surely the CN Tower, one of the highest buildings in the world with a rotating restaurant, the TD Center, the Canadian Bank. At GMS we know the best venues for your events and incentives.

Top Entertainment

We have fantastic museums, national ballet, art galleries, theaters (we are third in the world after London and New York and are proud to have The Royal Alexandra as one of the most splendid theaters of all), festivals and parades that liven up Toronto all throughout the year.

We will be the Host City of the 2015 Pan American/Parapan American Games.

•Play Billiards on antique tables handcrafted decades ago.
•The George Chenier Room: As a billiard factory this area of the building would have been the busiest. It was the loading dock. All finished products came to this area to be shipped across Canada. The external windows in this room were loading doors and under the carpet you will find quarter inch steel plate floors necessary for the movement of slate and heavy table frames. This room was opened in 1996. The large interior windows give the room an airy feel and also represent a significant part of Toronto's history. These windows were part of the now demolished Massey Harris factory on King Street at Strachan. Massey Harris was the largest manufacturer of farm tractors and implements in the first half of the 20th century. So in a small way they have brought together work and leisure under one loading dock roof.
