Why Shanghai

Shanghai started as a small village of fisher men and was also called the "City Above the Sea". The British, the French and other western adventurers put their stamp on Shanghai, you can still see its colonial past in some of the buildings. In the Old City, originally walled, you can still see the City God Temple amongst other and lovely Chinese gardens, like the Yuyuan.

Shanghai is were modern day tycoons live in modern skyscrapers, its energetic, bouncy and fast moving and combined with its rich past, a great destination for incentives and events.

Shanghai is a giant of a city that has been snoozing for the past few decades. Right now, Shanghai is more alive, more kicking and more optimistic than any city in China. Since market restrictions were lifted, Shanghai has embraced the forces of business and design and rewritten its rulebook shaping a fresh, new city that is sophisticated, innovative and living a life it has never lived before. It is in the middle of a building boom that is unprecedented, not just in China, but possibly in the entire world.

Day 1

You will be greeted by our professional in Uniformed English speaking guide at the Beijing Airport and transferred to your Hotel.

Welcome Dinner / at MINT
M1NT as a unique destination Within walking distance from People's Square and the Bund, M1NT rapidly became an international landmark.
Crowning the 24-story M1NT Tower on Fuzhou Road, the venue faces the Bund with parking . Have cocktail and dinner there to enjoy the spectacular evening in Shanghai



The House of Roosevelt is a Neo-Classical building originally built in 1920. The Roosevelt Family redeveloped the building in 2008 and committed to preserve the history and restore the past glory of the architecture. The House of Roosevelt is a stylish lifestyle establishment featuring premium wines and gourmet foods.
2nd floor is the largest wine cellar in Shanghai. The setting of the entire floor resembles an Old World wine cellar. The amazing view of Huangpu River and Pudong Lujiazui Financial District is right outside of the stone-arcade-like arch windows. Elegant décor within and two terraces capturing the buzz of the city and the vintage feel of the Bund without, Roosevelt Sky Restaurant & Bar well deserved the award for the restaurant with the best view in Shanghai.

Wuzhen Water Town day Trip

0900 depart from Hotel , 1.5 hours drive
1030 arrive at Wuzhen & take a 6 person shared old traditional wooden boat around in the Grand Canal .
1230 Western lunch at a local Bar & Grill Restaurant
1330 culture Learning (Calligraphy & Fortune telling)
1500 Drive back to Shanghai Hotel
1830 Dinner at Kathleen's 5 Restaurant

Wuzhen, a 1300-year-old water town on the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, is one of China's top ten historical & cultural towns. It is at the center of the golden triangle consisting of Shanghai, Hangzhou and Suzhou. Wuzhen can be easily accessed through a number of expressways and national highways. Today visit the narrow rivers with boats around the town is so classic in the Chinese way. Other than enjoying the views every where in town

The Local bar has a bright and spacious central area suitable for larger parties, secluded private lounges and two riverside seating areas. All provide environments of distinctive style in which patrons can appreciate fine wine. With a glass of red wine in hand, visitors can watch the river flow by, and small boats drifting leisurely, as they lose themselves in the beauty of Wuzhen.

Suzhou & Zhouzhuang day trip with Dinner at Lost of Heaven

Suzhou is located in the center of the Yangtze Delta, Since 42% area of the city is covered by water, including a vast number of ponds and streams, it is praised as the 'Oriental Venice'.

As the saying goes - 'Gardens to the south of Yangtze River are the best in the world, and Suzhou gardens are the best among them'. These gardens attain their high reputation not only for their vast numbers, but also for their charming natural beauty and harmonious construction.

Zhouzhuang, is the No.1 Water Town of China. Surrounded by water, Zhouzhuang blends the unsophisticated residential houses, paved narrow lanes, stone bridges and some historical sites. Besides of experiencing the folk culture, it is suggested that you pay a visit to Shen House, Milou Tower and Chengxu Taoist Temple.

The beautiful waterside City of Suzhou in Jiangsu Province in South China is most famous for its elegant classical gardens. The garden was created upon the old relics of a resident and a temple. Water feature is the main background and its natural landscape includes small forests, hills and rock formations. It also has man-made pavilions, halls and parlors; it is representative of the Ming Dynasty building
Founded in 1960 and originally located in the national historic landmark, Zhong Wang Fu palace complex, Suzhou Museum has been a highly-regarded regional museum with a number of significant Chinese cultural relics. The new museum houses over 30000 cultural relics --- most notably for excavated artifacts, Ming and Qing Dynasty paintings and calligraphy, and ancient arts and crafts.

Silk fabric was first developed in ancient China. Since the Song Dynasty Suzhou has also been an important centre for China's silk industry and continues to hold that prominent position today.Visit this 80-year old Silk Spinning Factory and see firsthand where the entire process of manufacturing silk.

Day 4

Dragon boat race

0830 Depart Hotel
0900 The warm-ups start, 6 teams and 10-man boats are ready.
0930 The final will begin. You could just seat down with the beer,coffee,snacks and enjoy the race.
1030 The final finished and celebration by Dragon and lion dance.
1230 drive to have a lunch
1300 Lunch time
1400 Drive to Water Town of Zhujiajiao
1430-1530 Visit the Zhujiajiao
1540-1630 Drive back to hotel
1830 Drive to and dinner at Yong Foo Elite

The dragon boat races are a long lasting tradition which has its roots in an ancient folk ritual of contending villagers, which has been held for over 2000 years throughout southern China.. But the history of dragon boats in competition reaches as far back as the same era as the original games of Olympia in ancient Greece. Both dragon boat racing and the ancient Olympiad included aspects of religious observances and community celebrations along with competition.
Before the racing you will be trained by the professional Coach for one hour. It was also cool to hear the pounding on the drums and seeing all row in unison.

The Shanghai World Financial Center is a super tall skyscraper located in the Pudong district . It was designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox and developed by the Mori Building Company, with Leslie E. Robertson Associates as its structural engineer and China State Construction Engineering Corp and Shanghai Construction (Group) General Co. as its main contractor. It is a mixed-use skyscraper, consisting of offices, hotels, conference rooms, observation decks, and ground-floor shopping malls. The SWFC has been lauded for its design, and in 2008 it was named by architects as the year's best completed skyscraper. In 2013, the SWFC was exceeded in height by the adjacent Shanghai Tower which is due for completion in 2014. Together, the Shanghai World Financial Center, Shanghai Tower and Jin Mao Tower form the world's first adjacent grouping of three super tall skyscrapers.

Yuyuan Garden is a famous classical garden in the south region. The symbol of Yuyuan Garden is the Nine Zigzag Bridge built of granite and grass-white jade and the quaint, elegant mid-lake pavilion.

Cocktail Party in the cruise

Before dinner, enjoy this one hour private used cruise for your cocktail Party. The Huangpu River is the mother river of Shanghai. Nanpu Bridge, Yangpu Bridge and Oriental Pearl TV Tower compose of a huge picture scroll. The Bund is the cultural section of Shanghai that best represents the blending of ancient and modern influences. This renowned waterfront district is the city's most famous landmark. Local people honor the Huangpu River as Mother River, and as you view the lights and spectacle from the deck of your evening cruise, you will understand why. Qiangsheng Cruise is a Modern small Cruise with 22 meters long and two layers. Launched in 2003, it could hold 80 people in total which is the best place to hold a small meeting and reception.
