Destination New York
Why New York
I want to be a part of it, New York, New York, sang Frank Sinatra way back when. And we agree, who does not want to be a part of New York? It's a city that's vibrant, energetic, moving with a speed which seems to outpace any other city in the world, incredible, breathtaking, trendy, luxurious, the list can fill four pages easily.
Divided in famous neighborhoods, Manhattan, Brooklyn, The Bronx, Staten Island and Queens and immortalized in many movies, New York seems to be made of delights and highlights. Manhattan brings Central Park dating back to 1857 - where New Yorkers and tourist hang out and where you can go horse back riding, cycling or jogging, The Empire State Building, Grand Central terminal where they serve 62 different kinds of oysters in the Oyster bar and Times Square & the latest Broadway shows. There is also trendy Bronx with its botanical gardens and Brooklyn - by some considered seriously suburbian - but still happening - many possibilities for great events and incentives.
With so many new venues, restaurants, place and activities, you need an excellent partner on the ground. We, at Shackman Associates, would be delighted to assist you.

Everyone knows their 5 senses: sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch; but have you ever explored these senses in a New
York City fashion? Today, our guests will be taken on a journey through the City to re-discover these basics like a true
We will start our day by heading downtown Manhattan to the heliport. Here our guests enjoy a view from the city that not many people get to see
– from the sky. Our guests board the helicopter and taking the south route of the Hudson River they will be able to see from the Empire State building to Ground Zero and flight around the statue of Liberty finishing back Downtown after this breathtaking helicopter ride above the city. (weather permitting)
The next sense that we revisit is touch: we will head over to see one of the most iconic pets of the City: the bull. Grabbing the bull by its horns is a must in NYC! Symbol of aggressive financial optimism and prosperity, our
charging Bull stands Downtown as a talisman for Wall Street traders and a
source of pride for all New York City residents.
Everyone will have to touch the bull for financial luck throughout the year!
We then head north towards Chinatown. There has been a major revitalization in Chinatown, bringing attention to the cultural aspect to one of New York's famous neighborhoods. Our guests will be introduced to many of the food and tea establishments where they will have to test their sense of smell! Can anyone guess the composition of an authentic Chinese tea?
Then, it's on to tasting through Chelsea Market, which has become the culinary destination for many. Housed in a former Nabisco bakery and factory, birth place of the world-famous Oreo cookie, our guests will discover one of NYC's culinary food shop, a gourmet lover's wholesale-retail wonder world, and an energetic, neighborhood hotspot, all meshed into an entire city block of space in the heart of West Chelsea.
On their way back to the hotel (or other location) our guests will be surprised by
an unexpected visitor hopping on the bus: a live entertainer! As the bus is about to depart, our Tour Guide seems to get into an altercation with a passer-buy, who forces his way on the coach. As he/she hops on the bus - what is our surprise that once on the bus the "visitor" starts singing famous tunes to our guests and has them participate all the way to their next stop...
