Before joining White Sand Tours as Commercial Executive in August 2011, I have been working in the Hotel Industry and gained seven years of experience in Communication and Marketing. I have been working in renowned hotel groups such as Constance Hotels & Resorts, One&Only Le Saint Géran and Trou aux Biches Resort &Spa. With my creative flair I know exactly how important the first impression of our proposals and our running of operations is for you and your clients. I have been promoted to Commercial Manager in September 2015.

The day starts with a visit of the capital, Port Louis founded in 1735 by Mahé de Labourdonnais.
Port-Louis has conserved many historic and colonial buildings through the years. One of them is a fortification named Fort Adelaide or La Citadelle,built by the British in 1835,which dominates the city.
Market of Port-Louis and Caudan Waterfront
The best way to describe the Port Louis market is as an area of great hustle and bustle where you will interact with the locals. Everything can be found in there from vegetables to craft products to clothes. The Caudan Waterfront with its 62 shops, it offers a great variety of items ranging from international brands to local designs,duty-freeshops, fashion, beachwear, shoes, jewellery, accessories and books.
Eureka Colonial House
The Creole house Eureka, at Moka,is one of the best preserved period residences still in good condition. Its ancient architecture is of a rare beauty. The museum harbours real treasures, such as antique furniture, old photographs, old chinaware... In addition, the magnificent garden around the house contributes to the beauty of the place. Lunch will be served under the verandah
Enjoy a day trip to the southern part of Mauritius, which has kept most of its wild beauty and charm.
A visit to The Mauritius Glass Gallery is a must, for it has combined ecological interests with craft. The craftsmen can be seen at work, transforming molten glass into beautiful objects. Mauritius has the unique "Hands of Fame", where you can see replica hand casts of world renowned celebrities who have visited Mauritius and supported the Helping Hands Foundation.
Drive towards Curepipe, one of the island's main cities. As you reach the highest point in town, step down to see Trou aux Cerfs' crater, a dormant volcano covered with lush vegetation, which also acts as a 360-degree lookout.
Head towards the sacred lake of Grand-Bassin, a significant place of worship for Hindus in Mauritius.
Further south, discover the spectacular Black River Gorges tucked in tropical greenery.
Arrive at La Rhumeriede Chamarel, visit the rum distillery, followed by mouth watering lunch at L'Alchimiste.
After lunch continue to the village of Chamarel,home to the island's highest waterfalls and the famous colouredearths.
Suggested Sea Activities
Enjoy a full-day cruise on the eastc oast. You will sail through the turquoise water in the lagoon. While you will be busy sunbathing on the deck and ideally watching the wave sand the back drop of inland mountains, you will be pampered and waited throughout the day.Time will be allowed for swimming and snorkeling,while a delicious barbecuelunch will be prepared by the crew and served on board. Water, softdrinks, beers, local rum available throughout the day.
