Short Bio Edouard George - Cambodia

In 1984 I started working in the hospitality industry in Switzerland and Vietnam. I definitely moved to Vietnam in 1991 to help with the opening of the first international Hotel in Vietnam, the Sofitel Metropole Hanoi. In 1999 I took the challenge to build up Phoenix Vietnam together with a Vietnamese colleague, which was later merged with Asia Holidays in Myanmar to the Phoenix Voyages Group.

Today I can proudly say that Phoenix Voyages has grown to one of Asia's leading DMCs with offices in Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, South & North Korea and Thailand.

Testimonial Phoenix Voyages Thailand

Thailand – Cambodia : 4 groups x 120 pax back to back

Dear Mr. Linh,

Like a mastermind, man in the shadows, you guided all of this with a master's touch, congratulations. I can't find more words to thank you, so I am sending you a copy of each one of the e-mails I sent to your team, knowing that Linh was behind all of this for the overall coordination:

My dear Kae,
On behalf of all the staff of ID and of our client, I wanted to thank you personally, as well as all your team for your contribution to the success of the incentive.
You had the hardest part to do, with this Orient Express that wasn't moving or that was stopping in the middle of nowhere, broken down.
So it was a cry for help to Kae. How did you manage not to lose us?
Baan Suan was a great success, an evening full of emotion. Thank you very much for allowing our client to stick to his budget with this remarkable alternative.
The Ratilana is certainly the hotel that the 4 groups liked the most, it gets the award for the best souvenir.

Dear Ludwig,
On behalf of all the staff of ID and of our client, I wanted to thank you personally, as well as all your team for your contribution to the success of the incentive.
You had the challenge to end this trip in a wonderful way, and you did it !
Perfect guides, a great welcoming, the preparation of 20, then 30 and even 40 bikes very easily. A few helicopter flights, two or three hot-air balloon tours, without forgetting all the extensions.
It is true that we did everything to make it harder...but you stood firm.
For the gala dinner, now we know for next time: we will warn all the neighbors and tell them to come party with us so that they don't bother us!
You are lucky to work in such a beautiful country, Cambodia is the part of the trip that many of our clients liked the most.

Dear Simone,
On behalf of all the staff of ID and of our client, I wanted to thank you personally, as well as all your team for your contribution to the success of the incentive.
Working with you was a real pleasure: you have this capacity of dexterity, precision and efficiency that allows all the smallest details in the organization to work out perfectly.

Looking forward to collaborate for the next editions,
Sincerely yours,

C. M.
Incentive Destinations

What makes Cambodia a great destination

 Why Cambodia

Officially known as the Kingdom of Cambodia, Cambodia has a rich cultural past.  The stunning temples of Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom are world famous and put Cambodia firmly on the map. Of course this area of more than 250 square miles is wonderful to visit and we can organise some splendid incentives with the temples as a gorgeous backdrop, but Cambodia has much more to offer.

Cambodia is also blessed with pristine white beaches, far stretching green rice fields, lakes like Tonle Sap, unspoilt islands, lush forests, the Mekong river, jungle and villages with restored colonial houses, as well as the massive Tonle Sap - Southeast Asia's largest freshwater lake and the Cardamom Mountains. Phnom Penh is the charming capital of Cambodia with a lovely setting where three rivers meet. Today you will still see many French colonial mansions amidst the traditional Cambodian architecture.

Cambodia is opening up Koh Kong Conservation Corridor, where you can still see tigers and elephants. A new trend is ecotourism, warmly welcomed by Phoenix Voyages.
